Artwork Description
This is an abstract seascape artwork that features vivid colours and deeply textured areas that are washed and glazed with intense and multiple bright colour paints. I then add some hints of gold light-reflecting metallics to highlight the work.
Many owners of my work comment on the distinctive chameleonic characteristics of the work which is caused by the metallic pigments reflecting in varying light sources. Whether you choose to light the art using direct artificial lighting, natural light, or a combination of the two as day turns to night, the paintings can take on another dimension.
I use high quality materials on a deep edged, triple primed cotton canvas that is stretched over a solid wood frame and ready to hang. To ensure longevity of the work a clear UV varnish is added to protect and enhance.
I always sign the reverse of my work unless requested to sign the front.
