Drawing has been a part of me since as far back as I can remember, we didn't have a great deal of money while growing up, but my mother always made sure I had all the art materials I needed, I think it is down to her support and encouragement that cemented art into part of my personality. Painting is a recent addition to my interests, but once I started I found I had a million and one ideas I couldn't wait to see come to life on canvas. Mainly inspired by nature, most of my work has a botanical theme. Inspiration can also spring from the human form, animals, just a love of a certain colour, or as simple as a thought or feeling. I use the best quality canvases and materials, and all of my pieces are original and unique. Friends and family own my work, and it's lovely to see it in their homes on visits.
