Purchasing Artwork

Q. Are all the paintings original?

A. Yes. All paintings are hand-created. We offer no digital reproductions, so each piece sold is an original.

 

Q. Will the painting I order be an exact replica of the one shown on the website?

A. All paintings 'made to order' are created for your individual requirements. Whilst every effort goes into getting the painting as close to the original design as possible there may be slight differences. These paintings are hand-created and there are no digital reproductions sold, so there will be variations making each piece unique.

 

Q. Will the colours look different to those shown on my computer?

A. There may be slight variations to the colour, depending on individual monitor settings.  We try and represent the colours as best we can. In most cases the colours are just more vibrant in real life.

 

Q. What happens once I place my order?

A. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email. We will then arrange delivery if your painting is 'in stock,' or advise you otherwise. We will send a proof photo of your painting once it has been created.

 

Q. Will I be sent a proof of my 'made to order' painting before its delivered?

A. Yes, always. Your artwork will only be sent after you have approved it.

 

Q. I have seen a painting on your site but the size I want isn’t listed.

A. Paintings can be created to any size you wish. For our full range please see size options. If the size is not listed please contact us with your requirements

 

Q. Can I change the colours on any of the paintings?

A. Unless the artwork is in our 'one-off' range you can change the colour of most of the paintings. Just select 'request my own colours' and the artist will contact you to discuss them. If would like help in selecting colours, please contact us.

 

Q. What happens if I don't like the painting when it arrives?

A. If you like the painting on screen, it's likely you'll love it even more when it arrives. However if you're not 100% satisfied with your painting we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

 

Q. How long do I get if I wish to return my painting?

A. We offer a 14-day money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.

 

Q. Do you sell to trade and commercial customers?

A. Yes. Please feel free to contact us with your requirements.

 

Q. How do I hang my painting?

A. Most of the paintings are created on canvas. Hanging them is dependant on your walls, but in most cases if you use two screws the painting will sit on top so it is flush against the wall. The canvas is lightweight. Picture hooks are not always a good idea as they will bring the painting off the wall and you will see the gap behind when standing at the side of it. If in doubt always ask your local hardware store for advice.

Q. I find it hard to explain exactly what I want; will you be able to help me?

A. Of course. The artist will guide you as much as you wish. You could also look at our latest canvas art for more ideas.

 

Q. I’m not really sure what size canvas will best suit my space. How do I decide?

A. Please visit our article entitled 'Sizing your artwork' for more advice. Or free feel to contact us if you require more help.

 

Q. What if you send me a picture of my finished painting and the colours or style are not right?

A. It is important that you are completely happy with your painting, so the artist will continue to work with you until you are.

 

Q. Do you offer discounts if I buy more than one painting?

A. If you are purchasing 3 or more paintings from the same artist please contact us for discounts.

 

Q. Can I commission any of the artists?

A. Yes. Please send us your requirements, along with the artist's name.

Payments

Q. How secure is your website?

A. We use CubeCart, which is a secure shopping cart, along with Protx, for payments. Both of these are well recognised and highly secure systems.

 

Q. Who are Protx?

A. Protx is a secure online payment facility. For more details please visit the Protx website.

 

Q. Can I pay by cheque?

A. Yes we do accept cheques. Please place your order and stop before payment. This will generate your order. We will then contact you to arrange payment.

 

Q. Are my card details safe?

A. Your card details are used only for this transaction, and are kept extremely safe.

 

Q. Are my personal details safe?

A. Your personal details are used only for this transaction, and are kept extremely safe.

 

Q. What cards do you take?

A. We take MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Switch, Solo, Delta and American Express. If we do not accept your card, please contact us.

Delivery

Q. How long will my painting take to arrive?

A. If your painting is in stock, please allow 5-7 working days. For all other artwork, please see our section on delivery.

 

Q. What are your delivery charges?

A. We offer free UK delivery; all other charges are shown in our section on delivery.

 

Q. Who will deliver my painting?

A. Most paintings are sent via a courier service, and require a signature. The courier will vary depending on the size of the painting

 

Q. How is it packaged?

A. All paintings are well-packaged to ensure safe delivery. Most paintings will be securely bubble-wrapped and come in a box or double corrugated card.

 

Q. Is the artwork insured against damages?

A. Yes all artwork is insured against damages.

 

Q. What happens if my painting gets damaged?

A. If your painting is damaged, you will be offered a replacement or a full refund.

 

Q. Do you deliver worldwide?

A. Yes, please see our section on delivery. If you are not listed please contact us for prices.

 

Q. What are your international shipping charges?

A. This is dependent on where you are, and the size of the painting, so please contact us for prices.

 

Q. I require urgent delivery, is this possible?

A. Yes, please contact us. There may be an additional charge depending upon your requirements.

 

Q. Can I collect in person?

A. That is no problem at all. We can arrange a date that best suits you.

 

Q. Can I request my painting to be delivered on a particular day?

A. Certainly. Just let us know which day would best suit you. Saturday deliveries are extra. Please see Terms and Conditions for prices.

 

Q. I was told my painting would arrive today but it hasn’t. What should I do?

A. Unfortunately, despite booking your painting to arrive on a specific day, on the odd occasion the courier may be late. In this case, the painting should arrive the following day. If you are concerned, please feel free to contact us.

Q.  I would like to return my painting. How does this work?

A. Should you decide to return your painting, this must be done within 14 days. Please notify us straight away. It must be packaged in the same or similar packaging it arrived in and be fully insured against damages (should the painting be damaged during transit, you will be responsible for claiming from the courier). Paintings are returned at your own expense, and you may have to make returns to multiple addresses if you have purchased more than one piece. We do not refund postage costs for returned artwork.
