Steve Bonds
I was born in London. After studying art, photography and design I went into advertising, whilst "working" on graffiti in my spare time. I spent a few years travelling around Asia, returning with an addiction to surfing, which has been a big influence in my work. I started painting full time, that was over ten years ago now and since then have sold over 4 thousand paintings worldwide.
My style is varied, influenced by freestyle old skool graffiti, stencil graffiti,surf and very big on motion and texture. I love art that works on more than one level, most of my paintings have 'things going on' that are not obvious at first. I work either from a studio at home, or from around the beaches in North Devon, which is where, I now live.
