Sell Your Artwork

 

Here at Art2Arts we pride ourselves on offering a large collection of original artwork by a selection of talented artists. Many online galleries add as many artists as possible, meaning the customer has to scroll though pages and pages of artwork, however we have a selection process in place and only add artists who we feel have something different to offer. Should you submit your details please note we only accept a small number of artists that apply so please don't take it personal if we are unable to offer you a space on the site.

 

Do You.....

  • Live in the UK
  • Have a collection of 5 or more paintings
  • Create artwork that is 100% original
  • Believe in excellent customer service

If you can answer yes to the above then we would love to hear from you. Please email us at info@art2arts.co.uk and include the following information: 

  • Your full name
  • Your website/gallery address or please attach 4 examples of your work
  • Medium & style you work in
  • Format of your work. i.e. canvas/paper
  • Price range of your work
  • A sentence about yourself and how you create your artwork

If your application is accepted you will be contacted within 7 days and asked to submit your work. 

 

Commission rates

 

We do not charge any membership charges or upfront costs to sell your artwork, we take a commission of 30% which is much lower than some art galleries that can charge up to 50%. This covers the cost of admin, advertising and processing fees. We spend alot of time promoting your artwork and ensuring that customers can find exactly what they are looking for.

 

How it works

 

You will have your own account, which will be reviewed every 6 months. You will be able to upload your own artwork and manage your own orders. Once your work has been approved and added to the website we make every effort in promoting your artwork. Featured artwork on the homepage is changed on a weekly basis offering every artist the chance to have extra promotion on their artwork. Once a sale has been completed you will be sent an automated email advising you,  you will then be able to log in to your account and view the details.

 

How you are paid

 

Once we have receive a sale and the customer has paid through our payment system, the artwork has been delivered and the customer is happy with the painting, we will send you a purchase order for the sale, minus the commission charge within 21 days of delivery. This allows for our 14 day return policy should the customer wish to return the painting for whatever reason.

 

What we except from you

 

As you can appreciate we focus heavily on customer satisfaction, and this is one of the most important parts of selling artwork, along with producing quality work. We ask the following from you:

  • To respond promptly to emails, delays in replying may result in a missed opportunity
  • Describe your artwork as accurately as possible and take clear photographs
  • Artwork must be delivered within 7 working days from date of order, unless the artwork is 'made to order'
  • You must update your account as soon as a piece has sold
  • You refresh and update your artwork on a regular basis
  • We are notified of any holidays or periods of absence
