Acrylic painting on deep edged gallery canvas, produced with palette knife and brush. The picture continues my work centred around an interest in astronomy that I have had since my childhood. Sides of canvas painted black and also signed and dated. A certificate of authenticity is issued with the work. All paintings sent to UK and EU addresses will be sent fully stretched and ready to hang. Paintings sent to non-EU addresses, Australia, Canada and USA will be removed from the stretcher and sent rolled in a high quality long box. This should ensure that the painting gets to you in perfect condition. I am always happy to advise on questions about stretching and framing if required. My work is an eclectic mix of abstract reliefs, acrylic paintings and paper cutouts, all on canvas. My subject matter is equally wide ranging, including nudes, often inspired by classical subject matter, geometric abstracts inspired by a love of music and astronomy, and still lifes. Throughout all of my work there exists the core elements of vibrant colour, bold shapes and strong composition.
