Born in Dorset, I have always lived in England's West Country except when I ventured overland to India and taught in Italy for a while. I was Head of Art in Wiltshire during the 80's before settling in Devon. From here I discovered the Isles of Scilly defining my painting career in landscape art. My painting journey began by creating huge stage sets for school musicals and plays; the backdrop for South Pacific was my light bulb moment and the decision to paint full time became an inevitable must do. I have paintings in both public and private collections in New York, London and Switzerland. My many Solo Shows have been held in Devon . My preferred medium is oil on canvas although I enjoy experimenting with watercolour in my sail boat... (see more)
