About the artwork
I completely fell in love with the Northumberland coast when we visited earlier this year, and was constantly inspired to sketch by the beautiful views. I painted this in my studio when we returned from our trip, based on sketches I did of Bamburgh Castle on location. It's a chalk pastel painting on sanded paper. It is ready to hang in a black frame with acid free white mount. It measures approximately 53cm by 43cm (framed dimensions). The frame is black wood, with a high-clarity plastic safety glass to ensure minimal glare and so it isn’t damaged in transit. The painting is signed on the back as well as in the corner on the front. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be delivered carefully packaged in bubble wrap and in a sturdy cardboard box.
