About The Artist

Yulia Allan

I am a professional artist and a member of Visual Arts of Scotland. I live and work in my home studio in Innerleithen, Scottish Borders. I have exhibited extensively in my native Ukraine, and have undertaken prestigious commissions, again in Ukraine. I have been painting since I can remember and I really, really enjoy it. I have now settled in Scotland and now consider myself a Scottish artist. I am now building my reputation as an artist in my new adopted homeland. I paint in oils and I am absolutely fascinated by natural shades, contrasts, textures etc. In my Scottish paintings I try to capture my own mood and mix this with the mood nature presents for me to paint.
