Born and educated as an artist and architect in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, I hardly remember the time then I was not drawing and painting. I spent the last 20 years teaching art in Australia. My subjects of interests are of narrative, even illustrative sorts, I like stylised and condensed imagery. However, my interest in watercolour sometimes brings me into a more straightforward and more realistic territory.
