About the artwork

This artwork is based is on an original photograph I captured using film in a large format view camera. The photograph was used as my raw material which, through several stages of careful adjustment, gradually evolved into a painterly, abstract version of the original image. This Limited Edition artwork is produced as a high quality giclee print on stretched deep edge matte canvas*. The edges are left white to ensure that none of the picture is lost in the stretching process. The artwork will be signed on the front and signed and numbered on the reverse and supplied with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity I pride myself on producing original works of distinction which attract attention and invite emotional response when exhibited. I strive for perfection which I hope will be noticeable when viewing my work. I also hope it will be apparent to you why my pictures have been described as having a painterly quality and often mistaken for paintings, particularly when printed on canvas. *This artwork can be printed in a different size.
