Bright, colourful, arresting. This is how I would like my work to be described. A passionate amateur and largely self taught artist, I strive to infuse the ordinary with light. My work is diverse and reflects my changeable interests. Figurative, abstract, expressionist or impressionist I primarily aim to capture life's brightness, but look deeper at some of my work and there is no mistaking the inferences to a darker side. Impulsive, almost childlike in the joy of creation, my work reflects moments in time, moods or simply the need to recreate the obvious in paint.
