I am a self taught artist, born in South Wales. During my working life I was fortunate enough to be commissioned many times to paint portraits of my colleagues' wives, children and pets, but not necessarily in that order. Now retired, I have more time to devote to painting and have broadened my spectrum of subject matter. I try, whenever the subject allows, to inject a little humour into the work.
