It all began in childhood with horses... drawing ,painting, dreaming horses, horses, horses. I studied art at my local college and went into the creative industry of fashion design. In 2017, inspired by seeing the amazing results coloured pencil artist were achieving I took up my pencils to seriously draw portraits. Today I specialise in portraits of people and animals. I'm a dog mum to 2 energetic and intelligent border collies, who feature a lot in my work. I rarely work with coloured pencils now, pastels and watercolour are my favourite mediums. My work is on display at Pontefract Magistrates Market and I regularly take part in local Art and Craft fairs. I am a member of S.A.A and participated in 2021 Sketch for Survival. I had work f...
