Born in 1968 in Bulgaria, Rumen Spasov is a multidisciplinary artist, working with various mediums and experimenting with different techniques and art forms. In the beginning of his career, as academically educated, he was painting mostly figurative art, but within the years he found his passion for the abstract art with its border less possibilities of the means of expression. His creative process, unfolds the forms in a continual play between control and letting go. This allows him to express directly the creation impulses. What is more typical for his abstract paintings is the refined style.
