About the artwork

This is an idea I have playing around with in my head. I like the idea of painting a border within the painting itself, giving it a kind of vintage look. Crows are my favourite birds, I find the whole Corvid family fascinating, and I think this crow lends himself to the look I was trying to create. The canvas doesn't need a frame, it will be ready to hang, but I am showing it in a frame here purely as a display idea.

About The Artist

Jenny Morgan

Award-winning artist Jenny Morgan sells worldwide. Concentrating on portraiture for most of her life she also paints wildlife and animals in all their various settings. She studied at Southampton whereupon she quickly became an artist worthy of note. She predominately still works on portraits and body forms and now shows extensively throughout the South. A large collage of John Lennon made completely from newspaper cuttings was shown alongside John Lennon's own travelling exhibition and was well publicised at the time. (can be seen in my list of work) Living close to the New Forest she takes every opportunity to paint the roaming animals whilst walking her dogs whilst marvelling at the wonderful landscape, still as natural as it ever wa...
