Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, I have been a professional artist since 2006. I started painting at a young age, finding inspiration in my surrounding Yorkshire Landscape. Initially I trained as a Surface Pattern Designer and Colourist at Leeds College of Art and Design. However, life led me in a different direction and away from art. Thankfully I found the chance to paint again in 2006 and haven’t looked back since. Since then my work has evolved over those years. Firstly concentrating on floral and tree abstracts, using texture, which I often still do. It has evolved into more abstract and ethereal and organic forms.
