After a successful career as a ceramic restorer I made a welcome return to painting, To refresh my techniques, I studied fine art with OCA 2008-2015 gaining a Diploma in Painting in 2016. I live and work in Hampshire my studio is in the garden. My paintings are an emotional response to the natural environment, I am fascinated by shadows and reflections made by seasonal changes and natural light. I enjoy the sensuality of natural textures, leaves, water, grasses, feathers, clouds, and the landscape viewed as a mass of merging colours.
