About the artwork
This is an original acrylic painting which I have painted on a deep edged canvas which measures 20.3x20.3cm, 8x8 inches. A lovely little painting of a folk art hare and her blackbird friend. The sides are also painted and it is ready to hang with a hook attached to the back.
About The Artist
Janice MacDougall
I am a full time artist based in County Durham in the North East of England. I paint in acrylics and watercolours, and also do textile art, working with felt and fabrics which I hand and machine embroider. I am inspired by nature, colours and textures, and like to carry my camera around with me to snap something that inspires me. I have completed a diploma in stitched textiles and design, and I'm currently doing the Make it in Design, Surface Pattern Design course. I have exhibited my work in County Durham, North Yorkshire and Jersey. I am represented by Artlicensing.com Art Licensing Agency
