About the artwork

300 gs. kraft paper with 4 layers of gesso. Each Oil painting used, have their pigment components thoroughly analyzed for permanent lightfast only. The painting finishes up right the edges. There’s a balance between realism and painterly abstraction using impasto oil paint –in the flowers and the background- to add a sense of physicality and spontaneity to the work. There is a serene atmosphere in the composition, accompanied of energy and a subtle cheerfulness through the defined use of colors. – These portraits are reflecting not just a face but what is behind it, something we cannot see, our thoughts. Exalting the importance of thoughts, as they built our reality.

I will never see you again
