A visit to a wildlife park inspired me to create this graceful and stately giraffe who is reaching up to nibble leaves . It is made entirely from torn and precisely cut recycled paper. If you look closely you will see I have used parts of the wildlife park brochure for the background . I love to add wirds and images to my collages as it adds an extra dimension. Artist’s statement: I love to paint with paper Residing in West Yorkshire, I am a self-taught collage artist with a lifelong commitment to the arts. Throughout the years, I have engaged in various creative endeavours such as painting, jewellery making, decoupage, and paper cutting.
