A love affair with watercolour started about 25 years ago and I remain as passionate about the medium just as much now as then but also enjoy exploring mixed media. Although self taught my artistic journey has taken me from raw beginner to professional status, exhibiting across the south of England, teaching and demonstrating. My work hangs in many private collections throughout the UK and beyond. I am a selected member of the Society of Women Artists with whom I have won the HRH award for outstanding watercolour. Time spent in Africa often influences my work but I enjoy a broad spectrum of subject matter and a recent relocation to Cheshire has provided new stimulus.
