About the artwork

It`s Monday morning...It`s raining...Say no more ! Painted on my own HANDMADE canvas board, which is about half inch thick, and covered with a high quality close weave canvas. It`s mainly an impressionist style, leaving the background rather vague and open to interpretation by the viewer. No framing is needed.

About The Artist

Rod Buckingham

Hi. My Name is Rod Buckingham. I have been painting for many years, and sold well in excess of 500 paintings. Most are of my favourite subject, which is street scenes.....Quite often with a comical side. But also sometimes I like to paint a landscape or seascape. I suppose really I just paint what like, and hope it sells. I am not very keen on commission work as most of my paintings come from my own thoughts.
