About the artwork

An abstract panoramic seascape in deep blue on gold leaf. Using gold leaf creates those amazing reflections that makes the painting seem to move when you walk by. I just had to put in that little yacht to celebrate memories of days gone by. The picture continues around the side of the canvas giving a 3-D effect. it is ready to hang, but can be framed in a frame of your choice. About The Artist

Marja Brown

Born in Holland, I studied art in College but became a potter for 25 years before picking up the brush again. I feel I am mostly self taught through my love and enthusiasm of painting the world the way I want to see it. The beautiful country side of Dorset offers me unlimited potential to express my love for painting landscapes and seascapes and gives me the opportunity to work with many different colours. and styles. When I paint I find I can lose myself in each painting anew, large or small, and I hope they bring as much joy as I have found in painting them.
