In my work I attempt to depict not objective reality but rather the subjective emotions and responses that my surroundings or subject arouse in me. I graduated from NCAD with an Honours degree in 1995 and have worked as an artist ever since, exhibiting extensively both internationally & nationally – The Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery, The Guinness Hopstore and the RHA Gallery among others and my work can be found in many important collections nationally and Internationally including the OPW. Recently I took part in the SKY ARTS LANDSCAPE ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2016 series and totally enjoyed my days painting at Wray Castle in the Lake District, England, although I didn’t make the Semi Finals of the show, I was offered a Solo show in ...
