About The Artist

Reda Ishak

I was born in Rosario, Argentina and fortunate to be brought up in the countryside of Egypt, and as a child I spent my summers colouring what I saw. This is where I started my life-long passion for painting which I hope to share with you. I studied at Tish School of the Arts in New York and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. I am inspired by the simplicity of nature and elegance of light. I paint from my emotions and think in colours. I only started painting again recently last year after dropping my brushes for almost 8 years due to the illness of my only beloved sister, that she is sadly no longer with us any more and her last wish to me was to start to paint again, and here I am respecting her wish.
