This is a one off/original signed painting of Amy Winehouse. The painting is mixed media and has been created on a boxed stretched canvas with a weight of 260g. I'm a massive fan of Amy Winehouse and will always find her exciting and mesmerising to paint/draw. I've used a variety of mediums for this piece which includes acrylic paint, ink, stickers, newspapers and magazines cuttings along with my own stencil work.The edge of the canvas is rounded off with comic strip paper. It has been finished off with Liquitex gloss varnish. The canvas measures at 31. 5 X 23.6 inches. The depth is roughly 1 inch. I am an artist based in Greater London, and completed my Foundation Degree at Central Saint Martin's School of Art in London. I've wanted to be an artist since I was a child and have always been pulled towards more vibrant colours reminiscent of pop art, street and abstract art, particularly compositions that make a strong statement. Like any artist I produce work that excites me whether it has a deep hidden meaning or message, or if it really is just for fun! I studied Classical Civilisation which has greatly influenced my artwork, especially recently as I'm progressing and learning more about the digital world.
