About the artwork

This green monster showed up on this small poured painting. It was wonderful to see the green face appearing out of this pour. I just love to experiment with this new way of creating art and am always amazed what I can find in these little abstract paintings. It only needed a few tweaks for it to emerge fully on this canvas board, which is mounted in a little white frame giving a 3-D effect. The dimensions of the framed picture are 19x24x2 cm.The canvas board 13x18x0.2 cm. It is ready to hang and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

About The Artist

Marja Brown

Born in Holland, I studied art in College but became a potter for 25 years before picking up the brush again. I feel I am mostly self taught through my love and enthusiasm of painting the world the way I want to see it. The beautiful country side of Dorset offers me unlimited potential to express my love for painting landscapes and seascapes and gives me the opportunity to work with many different colours. and styles. When I paint I find I can lose myself in each painting anew, large or small, and I hope they bring as much joy as I have found in painting them.
