This is the first in a series of Birds of Prey. I have decided to start with the fastest of them all. I live right next to a Wetlands Nature reserve and my interest in birds and wildlife has become a total fascination. I paint in many techniques , but with these amazing birds I felt the detail was needed to respect their beauty. My decision to paint them on a deep edge canvas and then to mount them into a deep edge box frame, I think it suits them perfectly. After achieving a position in a highly regarded art studio as a teenager I gained so much experience of producing artwork at a high standard. At twenty I felt confident enough to approach Publishers and work directly with them as my diversity of styles and subjects gave me the experience I needed to be a success.
