About the artwork

This large painting has been created using acrylic paints and inks, taking inspiration from the Poppies in my small but jam-packed garden. I love flowers! They bring such joy and wonder, in the fleeting but precious time they are with us, I am trying to capture a moment of happiness. It's a large artwork, on A1 sized very heavy paper, the actual size is 59.5 cm high x 84 cm wide, and it will require framing. It's signed front and back, and I will send the painting in a sturdy postal roll tube.

Jacqueline Taylor

I studied Graphic Design at Art College, and have always painted in any spare time I've had. I have a love of Abstract Art and find it extremely cathartic to explore thoughts and emotions - getting feelings down on paper and canvas. Inspiration comes from many sources, people's reactions, a song on the radio, memories etc. Spontaneity is important to me, and I find using mixed media brings an edge of excitement and passion to my works. I love everything about the creative process..
