Silvie Tupa-Wright has been painting since early childhood, having commenced formal art study in 2000 whilst travelling across America. In 2000 Silvie commenced art classes in Ohio State University, Ohio, USA. During this period and until 2005 Silvie studied art under the supervision of the renowned watercolour artist Michael Heath, whose own work was influenced by the styles of Edward Hopper and Winslow Homer. Silvie would say that her work has naturally been influenced by all these renowned artists whilst having developed her own unique artistic style, interpretation, and form of still life expression.
