Official Title : Bubble Gum Travis Bickle Artwork No. P15 About this work: This original artwork is an image of Jean Michel Basquiat was timed for release in January 2018 which was when his ‘Boom to Real’ exhibition ended at the Barbican in London. The use of bubble gum gave me a prop that I often like to use in my works. The image of the heart and forever symbols are added as he’s a person that has lived on in the hearts of art lovers. Materials, Packaging & Shipping: Paper - high quality Bockingford 300gsm paper (mount and frame are not included) Paint - I use Valspar acrylic paint for most of my work Packaging - this work would be rolled, wrapped in tissue paper and enclosed in a postal tube. Postage & Shipping - The price you pay for my work includes shipping and general postage costs including import duties. Authentication: My work is signed in my standard ‘Holt’ marking on the front of the work and hand signed on the rear with the title, date and unique allocated reference number. A certificate of authenticity is also included. About my work: My works are intended to add impact to a room and I in many cases use at least 20 different colours when creating with the colours layered until the image feels right to me. April 2018 Update April will see the emergence of a new varied series of works from me which will now all be ready to hang and move into a more colourful collection. The ones i’m working on will all be 60x60cm but i’m desperate more onto larger scale works which I hope to start this month. The level of satisfaction I get from the large canvas’s is immense but I need to develop an image on a smaller scale first and then move upto a larger scale. There is also the problems of the sheer physicality of moving the larger works around and i’m having to invest in a larger scale car to enable me to transport them.
