About The Artist

Catherine Bhogal

My name is Catherine Bhogal. I am a professional landscape, portrait and figure artist, painting colourful images in the medium of oil. I live and work in the South Wales Valleys. I am based in Abercarn village, which is situated in Caerphilly Borough of South Wales. I am inspired by all things from nature, capturing light, the movement by using colour to its best advantage in oil. My artwork is colourful and vibrant. My quirky illustrations are another addition to my portfolio. I love using my imagination to create mixed media oil paintings that capture an essence of village life.
