About the artwork

'Left For Dead' is a mixed media painting using coloured pencils, soft pastels and pastel pencils on Pastelmat card. This colourful and highly detailed painting depicts an abandoned boat on a deserted beach, beneath a dramatic sky. Full of interest, there is a moody, calming atmosphere emanating from this scene resulting in an image that would particularly suit any living space or dining room. Measuring approximately 14 inches x 16.5 inches, this picture is presented in a white mount within a complimentary flat oak finished frame, to a total size of 21.25 x 24 inches, ready to hang.

About The Artist

Peter Williams

Hello from my studio here on the Suffolk coast and thank you for taking an interest in me and my art. In my gallery you'll find work created from a broad spectrum of media including graphite pencil, coloured pencil, charcoal and pastel. However I am best known and respected as a watercolourist. My wide portfolio of subject matter includes traditional landscape, seascape, wildlife, pets, portraiture and highly detailed illustration, even some still life. I've been and still am influenced by many predominantly unknown contemporary artists, people who have perfected certain techniques and styles of work which are instantly recognisable as their own.
