About the artwork
This painting was done from a memory of a day during my holiday at my favourite destination of Portugal. The shepherds there dont rent a field they travel from one grassy verge to another which helps others to keep there land free of grass. This is important to the area as they suffer from severe forest fires in August so the better trimmed down the less fire hazards.

Self taught professional artist working and living in the beautiful county of Cornwall, where she regularly teaches adults to paint. Her work has been sold through galleries, group shows and now on Art2Arts. She works mainly in acrylic paint through preference but has many years of experience in other mediums such as watercolour, charcoal, and mixed media.
