About the artwork

This is an original acrylic and 3d paint painting on canvas which measures 61x61x3.5cm. It is an abstract landscape inspired by the Moors near Weardale. The sides are painted so could be hung as it is there is a hanging hook on the back, or would look great framed. If you would like me to paint something similar, please don't hesitate to contact me.

About The Artist

Janice MacDougall

I am a full time artist based in County Durham in the North East of England. I paint in acrylics and watercolours, and also do textile art, working with felt and fabrics which I hand and machine embroider. I am inspired by nature, colours and textures, and like to carry my camera around with me to snap something that inspires me. I have completed a diploma in stitched textiles and design, and the Make it in Design, Surface Pattern Design course. I have exhibited my work in County Durham, North Yorkshire and Jersey. I am represented by Image by Design Art Licensing Agency
