About the artwork

Lilly pond is a classy modern centrepiece for any room. The image is painted on a textured background using white, greens, browns, blues and black with highlights of metallic gold and silver. The piece is further enhanced by the subtle use of glitter on the flower heads which is only really visible on close inspection or when lit. Signed on the front, varnished and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

About The Artist

Wendy Sistern

I have had a career in creative design spanning over 25 years which includes fabric design, interior design and graphic design. Previously I have designed dress fabric for major retailers such as Marks and Spencer, designed store layouts for major technology retailers and created brand identities for blue chip clients. I have been self-employed for over 10 years and originally began creating and selling original art with art2arts.co.uk between 2010 - 2012 selling alot of pieces during this time. After creating, developing then selling on my own successful bath and body business between 2012 and 2019, I have recently returned to my original love of art making and am enjoying finding out who I am as an artist again.
