About the artwork
Large original abstract painting created using many layers and glazes of acrylic paint and texture medium. Contemporary artwork in shades of blue. Flecks of metal leaf and metallic paint add extra dimension and catch the light. Varnished for protection. * I have reduced this painting from £275 to £245 because I have noticed that at the stretcher at the top (where the canvas passes over it) is slightly uneven. This doesn't detract from the painting and is not really noticeable unless you look but thought I should mention it all the same.*

Tracy-Ann Marrison
I was born in Yorkshire then relocated to Derbyshire whilst still a child. In a previous life I trained and worked as a dental hygienist. Life events led me to re-evaluate my life and follow my heart. I had always been creative and decided to follow my passion for art. I studied at the Cyprus College of Art from 2004- 2007 and continue to develop my work by attending portrait and life drawing sessions along with other workshops. I work from my studio in Derbyshire and create original artworks and undertake commissioned work. I have exhibited in Cyprus and the UK and my work is held in private collections in the UK, USA, Europe and Australia.
