About the artwork
A quirky, retro painting of a couple who are not getting on very well. I must have been singing the song "It's so funny how we don't talk anymore and decided to stick on those words onto the right hand curtain which is what the man is thinking and the woman is thinking "I used to think that life was sweet" and these words have been stuck on the left hand curtain. I have used torn up pieces of wrapping paper for the curtains and buttons and embroidery on other parts of the canvas.

I have been painting professionally for several years and have had much success selling my artwork both nationally and internationally mainly on online websites but also in art galleries, coffee shops and in the Oxford Town Hall where I had a very positive review of my artwork in the Oxford Times in 2011 which you can google under my name Casimira Mostyn. Several of my greeting card designs were also advertised in the Oxford Mail. Recently one of my pieces of artwork has been published on the front cover of an international Literary magazine, the Orbis Journal , Edition 167 spring 2014.
