This is an original canvas mixed media artwork, painted upon a stretched canvas, the sides are painted black and it is ready to hang. Named footfall this piece was created by me during my degree in Fine Art, in which I focused on voyeurism and the gaze and so made many images of people, many influenced by CCTV images and surveillance. Like many artists I have always been a maker of things, a passionate scribbler from an early age and a lifelong experimenter with anything and everything that comes to hand, never happy with clean hands or unspoilt clothes. I have a degree in fine art and a masters degree in creative multimedia and love to create imagery in both traditional and digital formats and sometimes a melding of both together. My paintings inhabit the area between abstraction and figuration, I love forms , colours and textures that hint at meaning and yet allow my eyes to dance across the painting and my mind to run free.
