About the artwork
This is the second in my series of abstract people paintings, this depicts the Bride and Groom in the midst of their wedding guests. It is painted with artists quality acrylic paints on canvas and has been finished with several coats of gloss varnish.The canvas has been place in a mount with a frame size of 20" x 16" and an aperture size of 15.5" x 11.5". It comes complete with a backing board and in an archival cellophane bag.

I have always painted and drawn but a recent house move gave me longed for studio space enabling my art to take over my life! I like to experiment with paint, drawing my inspiration from the world around me, the physical action of 'playing with the paint' is what I love best. I like bright colours and am currently working on box canvases with acrylics and exploring the many mediums available. I am also very interested in watercolours and the unusual effects that can be achieved with a little imagination. I was Highly Commended in The Artists magazine category of The Patchings Art competition 2013, I am a member of The Guild of Essex Craftsmen.
