Jules Hammond was born in Sheffield in 1967. Jules studied Art under Terence Bennett R.A. and History at York University. Afterwards he worked as an engineer and then as a professional musician for two years before becoming a teacher. Since his twenties he has pursued a parallel career as a painter. He has received awards for his aviation and automotive work which has also been featured in a number of publications. Jules has exhibited his work throughout the country and has work in a number of international collections. His work has been featured in international journals including Germany’s ‘Flugrevue’, ’Deutsche Luftwacht’ and the Swedish aviation magazine ’Svenska Flyghistorisk Tidskrift’. He lives an...
