I create Contemporary Portraiture Paintings using Thick and Expressionistic brush strokes and Palette Knife techniques. I was always fascinated by the identity of a person and their uniqueness and individuality, and in my paintings I always try to capture feelings and emotions. My style is quite bold and expressive and I like to bring a lot of textures to my paintings to portray the depth of emotions. When I look at my paintings I see a lot of mistery and vulnerability which encourages the viewer to look beyond what’s immediately seen, to see more than just a portrait painting but see personality, individuality and to feel empathy based on portrayed emotions of a subject matter.
