I come from the province of Guangdong, in China. After studying Chinese painting and design in the city of Guangzhou, I worked as an arts and crafts designer. Since moving to Britain I have taken a particular interest in botanical illustration and in 2007 successfully completed the Society of Botanical Artists correspondence course. I am also interested in painting cats, birds and ballet dancers. I paint in Chinese and Western styles, using Chinese pen and ink on paper or watercolour on paper. I have exhibited at the Society of Botanical Artists open exhibition in London and at several locations in and around Oxford, which is where I now live.
