About The Artist

Pete Rumney

Hi my name is Pete Rumney I am 40 years old and I was born and bred in England close to the coastline of Whitley Bay a few miles outside of Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been painting since a small child and really enjoy putting paint to canvas. I love to paint beautiful skylines and often explore the lakes and national parks for inspiration with my camera permanently fixed to me where ever I go. Currently I am loving the Lake District and have found many of my current works are based in this area as my family and I spend many weeks here throughout the year.
