About The Artist

Elizabeth Williams

My main focus is experimentation with colour and light working with the medium of oil paint of Land, Cloud and Seascapes paintings. My garden flowers are painted from a 'live' set up and carefully lit with controlled lighting to enhance the colours and freshness of a vibrant display and are also a favourite subject as well as a labour of love. All my work is created on linen, wood panel or cotton canvas and many are framed. Whether it be an oil painting of clouds in the sky or the ocean waves, wintry trees on snow covered terrains I try to depict a vision of the natural world around me, as I see it. A high point in my career was being commissioned for a number of my paintings, by the Board of The SHASHOUA Foundation. A private colle... (see more)
