'”My research is to give shape and color to images, that filtered by emotions, live a metaphysical dimension that search for representation"
Lauriola is an Italian visual artist who lives and works in Rome, the city where she was born. Her works have been exhibited in Italy, Greece, Syria, France, Monaco Principality and Poland. Her production is characterized by subjects full of positive symbolism and decisive sign power
The resin is a constant in Lauriola production who over the years has developed a technique focused on the chromatic and structural relationship between liquid matter, pigments and signs. Thus, emerge from the canvas, thanks to confident brushstrokes, fluid icons impregnated with a magnetic aura and subjects that flow directly from that limbo, present between the conscious and the unconscious and metaphorically represented by the liquidity of the resin. In particular, the images of the latest works are as if they come back to light after a long period sedimented under the material.
