Hester Coetzee

Hester Coetzee: 28 January 1948 - 11 June 2020. Hester is a self-taught artist with an attitude of gratitude and she paints with passion. Her vibrant colours and bold brush strokes, reflects her outgoing personality. Her inspiration is creation itself, with a specific admiration for trees and flowers. She has been very successful since she has joined Art Gallery and is currently one of the 10 best sellers. During the past 6 years,she has painted 1200 paintings and sold 1100 of them....indeed,a very successful artist! She sells worldwide and has done numerous successful exhibitions After 40 years of teaching, she has retired to be a full-time artist. Her paintings bring much joy to other people’s lives. For Hester, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Art is colours and melodies and chisels and pallets - to make beauty and goodness. Art gives joy, peace, fulfilment and can transform you into a beautiful person. It makes you thrive and expands your horizons. Art knows no language; anyone in the whole world can understand it.
