I studied graphic design and illustration before attending university to learn how to sculpt. After graduating I decided to return to my love for the freedom of paint of ink, where I am able to create physical representations of the images/shapes/patterns/worlds I see in my head. A strong theme within many of my works is an attempt to display thought in all its abstract glory, to dispell the chaos of the mind and represent a fraction of the complexity that lies there. Other strong inspirations include space, nature and the microscopic world where all things are interlinked. My aim is to create images that are purely enjoyable, where each time you look closely, you'll find something that you hadn't nocticed before.
