Based in United Kingdom
I first discovered art through graffiti, while growing up through the industrial collapse of the north of England during the 1980s. A practical eye on career opportunity led me into the computer games industry, which provided an insight into both the processes and precision involved in digital art, along with issues surrounding replication and the lack of a unique finished product. Having moved back to the real world, my work draws together elements of sci-fi, fantasy, and pure imagination into recognisable but surreal landscapes. Using stretched canvas as my base, I use a combination of spray paint and acrylics to produce my work. I aim to create works that provide an escape from the mundane realities of life, something which has increasing significance and relevance in the difficult times we are living through.
